Alma Jewelry Designs is a home-based business
specializing in the creation of custom jewelry for all
ages and styles.
Designer Alvy Marmol graduated from Rutgers
University in 1991 and quickly embarked on a career
path in the fashion and beauty industry. While
working in New York City for Elizabeth Arden, a
fragrance and cosmetics house, Alvy was transferred
to Florida. There she continued on to work for Estee
Lauder managing product training, sales, and
promotions in the International Travel-Retail Division.

ALMA Jewelry Designs
After enjoying a successful career and starting a family, Alvy decided to stay home and
raise her two children, David and Lourdes. In 2002, shortly after becoming a stay-at-home
mom, she began designing jewelry and garments for her daughter Lourdes (Lulubelle).
It was during that time that Alvy and her husband David took a trip to Venice, Italy and
visited the island of Murano (home of the ancient art of hand-blown glass). There she
became enamored with Murano beads and quickly became passionate about designing a
jewelry line using only genuine and authentic Murano beads.
Today, Alvy and David continue to travel to Venice annually to purchase hand-made Murano
beads and create unique designs that compliment every woman's style. Together they run
Alma Jewelry Designs with the sole purpose of offering beautiful, high quality, custom
jewelry at affordable prices.
