I release my creative self into my jewelry making after a long day as director of a mental health clinic. This outlet is better than any therapy! It is such a pleasure to create a unique necklace or bracelet and then to offer that creation to others.

Ever wonder what to do with a gold earring that has lost its mate? Or those painful to wear clip-ons? Or the bracelet you really like is broken and missing pieces? Do you sometimes wish you could wear your grandmother’s beautiful brooch, but it doesn’t go with the new styles of clothes? Alma has taken such treasured items and given them new life repurposing them into necklaces and bracelets.
Of course, not all the unique jewelry here is made from forgotten items. Alma scours flea markets, bazaars, antique stores and craft fairs in exotic places like Spain, Turkey, Thailand, Cambodia, Colombia among others. She blends the old-world craftsmanship with new ideas, creating one of a kind designs.
