Fossil set in silver with silver and pyrite accents on a necklace of Garnets, Rubies and Silver beads
This unique center piece is an orthoceras fossil -Orthoceras meaning straight horn, is the ancient cousin of the modern day squid or octopus. This 400 million year old fossil who lived between the Ordovician and Triassic Era is well displayed on the polished black marble matrix rock it is found in and set in silver. I then added silver open laced circle pendants with a pyrite center on each side, connecting the orthoveras with beaded chain of silver and garnets. the main necklace is my own design of silver and rubies-lots and lots of rubies.
This is a one of a kind design by Alma and cannot be repeated. A great gift, birthday, holiday. It comes with an extender of a Sterling Silver chain, allowing for varying lengths to suit different occasions. Comes with a presentation box of your choice
